Support for mental health problems around childbirth.

When we suffer emotional distress around childbirth it can feel particularly bad because of the expectations of others and maybe ourselves that it should be a happy time.

Your feelings are very real and unique to you but may be all mixed up.

It can be helpful to talk to a professional to express how you are really feeling and find a way to move forwards.

I have many years of experience supporting women and their partners through difficulties surrounding childbirth, including but not limited to:

Birth trauma

Pregnancy loss

Birth following sexual abuse

Difficulties adjusting to parenthood

Depression and anxiety before and after birth

Feel free to contact me for a no obligation chat about how I may be able to help.

As it is often difficult to leave a small baby in their early weeks they may come to sessions with you.
